Heyo Folks. Welcome to my Waterfall Blog. I feel in love with waterfalls a few years ago at a Boy Scout camp in the Sierra Nevadas. While the Scouts were earning merit badges, I snuck off to read by the waterfall and ended up swimming in the water, until I spotted a water snake headed towards me. On a recent trip to Hawaii, my favorite thing to do was hunt for a spot to swim under a waterfall. When I got home from the trip I was inspired to seek out all of our local waterfalls. There's not need to go halfway across the world for a beautiful scene and adventure. I am set on finding all the waterfalls closest to my own home in Salinas, California. Please join me in chasing the waterfalls in our own backyards.
